If you read romantasy or dark romance in Switzerland, you know the routine. The merch you want ships from the US or the UK. It takes weeks. And when it arrives, the postman may ask for VAT and a clearance fee before he hands it over.
We are two people with a studio in Chur, Graubünden. Everything we make is designed, printed and hand-finished here, and it ships from here.
What ordering from Switzerland changes
- No import fees. A parcel from Chur to Zürich, Bern, Basel or Vaduz does not cross a customs border. The price at checkout is the price.
- Short distances. We need 3 to 5 working days to prepare your order. After that, Swiss Post usually delivers within 2 to 3 days.
- Free shipping from CHF 45 in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Below that, shipping is CHF 9.
- Prices in CHF. No conversion, no card surcharge for a foreign currency.
What we make in Chur
A BookToy is a 15 cm collectible figure of the men you can't stop rereading. Each one is 3D printed in colour, assembled by hand and hand-finished in our studio. It's slow. That's why the editions are 50 and not 5,000.

Next to the BookToys there is The Classics, our permanent line of figures from gothic literature, starting with Heathcliff. Sculpted from the book. Not from the screen.
Why we make them here
Because we read the same books you do, and nothing like this existed within reach. Alejandra reads the genre. Every figure starts with her and a novel, and ends on a workbench in Chur where the details are finished by hand.
You can read the whole story on our About page.
Ordering from outside Switzerland
We ship worldwide. For orders outside Switzerland and Liechtenstein, your country may charge import VAT or clearance fees on delivery. Details are in our shipping policy.
For readers who live for: morally grey, found family, and a parcel that arrives without a bill attached.
